Senator Roland Burris, appointed to complete Barack Obama’s Senate term, reminisces:
“Burris said Sen. Dianne Feinstein, of California, was first to support his being seated. Sen. Russ Feingold, of Wisconsin, was next, Burris said, noting that, ‘We’ve had a great relationship’ but flubbing his name by calling him ‘Ralph’ and ‘Feinberg.'”
I’m sure that Steve and Trog (both of whom dropped the ball on this story, by the way) will want to join the almost-namesake Senator Burris in encouraging Democrats to vote for Ralph Feinberg, who has been a stalwart supporter of various things, I’m sure.
And hey, if you don’t see Feinberg on the ballot right away, just keep looking. It’s obviously Republican trickery and nothing more. Don’t be fooled into wasting your vote on one of those other guys.
